“Por sus obras los conoceréis”, afirmó san Mateo (7,15-20). Este versículo bíblico me servirá de guía para demostrar que el teniente coronel (r) Hugo Chávez Frías no fue bolivariano, sino todo lo contrario, es decir, un fanfarrón y charlatán que se valió de la figura del Padre de la Patria para engañar, en su nombre, a millares de venezolanos humildes que vieron en él al líder que los redimiría de la injusticia social, pero no fue así, ya que cuando irrumpió violentamente en la historia política contemporánea usando las armas de la República para derrocar a un presidente constitucional, acto contrario a la doctrina bolivariana, la calidad de vida del venezolano de a pie, con un precio del barril de petróleo muy bajo, era superior a la que después tendría cuando en 1999 llegó a la presidencia del país. Como por arte de magia, poco después de la llegada de Chávez al poder los ingresos petroleros se elevaron como nunca, pero el pueblo no se benefició de esa bonanza que le llegaba en migajas al sector de la población asociado al partido gobernante.Antes de su llegada a la Presidencia de la República los venezolanos éramos felices y no lo sabíamos.

Se trata de un LP Impreso por el Banco Unión en Venezuela en Julio de 1983.
Simón Bolívar cantado por su tocayo, es un álbum de estudio del cantante y compositor venezolano Simón Díaz.
Fue editado en 1983 por el Banco Unión, (Sello: Banco Unión – 83-082), empresa bancaria en la que el cantante servía de portavoz, durante las celebraciones del bicentenario del natalicio de Simón Bolívar.
Ya que fue un disco corporativo de edición limitada, es una de las grabaciones menos conocidas de Díaz, aunque no por eso menos valiosa. Los temas seleccionados y/o compuestos por Simón Díaz, obviamente, giran en torno a la vida del Libertador.

Es licenciado en Periodismo, Poeta, Trabajador Social e Investigador Cultural. El 15 de abril de 1997 creó el Centro de Investigaciones Culturales Neoespartanas (CICUNE). Publica diariamente los Blogs: “Noticias de Nueva Esparta” y “Poemario de Eladio Rodulfo González”.
