Yöre halkının Dede Sultan adını taktığı Börklüce Mustafa’ya olan sevgi ve bağlılığının da gösterildiği ağıtta, yenilginin hüznü ile meydan okumanın iç içe geçtiğini görüyoruz. Börklüce Mustafa ve Torlak Kemal öncülüğündeki direnişlerin resmedildiği bu uzun ağıtın bir kıtasını besteleyerek Akdeniz Yakası ile birlikte yorumladık. Ağıttaki cesaret ve umudun bugün de yankılanmasını ve hatırlanmasını istedik.” EROL MUTLU
